Horray Lucy slept through

Well at last Lucy slept through from 12-7. At 10 and a half weeks that is fairly impressive. What was a lot less impressive was her big brother's behaviour. He woke at about 1140 and was settled but up again at 1230, in the end after both James and I had tried, and failed, to settle him we allowed him into our bed. Here he proceeded to constantly sit up and pord us saying Get up! At 130 we were joined by Heather who also suffered the Matthew treatment. By 3am we had all had enough and he did finally accept being settled back into his own room until 630. James had to get up for work anyway. As Lucy was still snoring away I fed her expecting her to wake up but she simply fed and went back to sleep!
Fingers crossed that James managed to have an important dinner meeting today and that it doesn't get cancelled. Weather is as dismal as my mood with only the prospect of seeing a few snatches of tennis later to brighten it. Kids, where would we be without them - my answer today, a lot less tired!
