Christening

Yesterday was Lucy's Christening and I was really proud of my kids. Lucy only cried at the beginning of the service and was fairly good when the water was poured over her head. Matthew was a treasure throughout and Heather looked very proud to be holding her sisters lighted baptism candle. Of course today they are playing up having gone from having lots of people around to just boring old mum! On the plus side Heather is back at school today and she was pleased to be seeing all her friends even though we only got there on time by the skin of our teeth.
The car has been playng up again as well! Today the battery was replaced so hopefully it will work properly now.
Lucy was very lucky to receive lots of lovely Christening cards and presents and I am very touched that her Nanny Sheila has made her a little room like out of a dolls house to hang on her bedroom wall, she has spent so much time and effort on it, makes me feel really privileged to have people who care about my kids so much.
Now we have Matthew's birthday approaching rapidly and then after that I am hoping I can get back to my routine and get writing more seriously!
